I'm back, Baby!

I've been a little non-existent for a while now.  But, I'm ready to get back into the swing of things!

Basically, what happened was that my fibromyalgia reached a point where I couldn't handle it anymore.  I couldn't write, or paint, or play with my children....all of the things I love.  But, I'm on a treatment since July that has helped reduce my pain from a level 10 to a level 1.  Basically, I cleaned up my diet completely (turns out fibro pain is related to leaky gut syndrome).

But, this blog post isn't about that.  It's about what happened after my pain eased.  I finished editing book 2, Tara's Escape, which is with my editor at the moment.  I also started writing book 3.  This is huge for me because I honestly wasn't sure I would be able to get it done.  I've also been painting, drawing, hanging with my kids, and doing all of the things that make me feel alive.

When an artist cannot create, it hurts them deep in their souls.  I suppose it's the same for anyone who can no longer follow their passions with the energy they once had.  I don't know...I just know what it was like for me.

So, with that in mind I am ready to put more of myself into my novels and my artwork.  That includes more blog posts about both subjects, as well as a few about fibromyalgia/leaky gut here and there.  I hope to write at least one blog post a week, and one vlog post a month.  Though, chances are good that life might make it difficult to post to this blog every week...but I'm going to try to keep to a schedule.

This feels so good.  I really was afraid that I wouldn't be able to put the effort into my writing that I had originally planned.  When I was getting ready to publish Sadie's War, I had all these plans about what I wanted to do with my books, networking, blogging/vlogging, etc.

I'm back, Baby!  And I'm not going anywhere!  (Or as Michael would say, "I ain't gettin gone no more!")
